Details: Jesus Christ Superstar, starring Ted Neeley, was the first masterpiece from the legendary writing team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. It exploded onto the scene in 1971 and changed the world of musical theatre forever.Set in two acts, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR tells the story of the final seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

SUPERSTAR dramatizes Jesus’ entry in Jerusalem, the unrest caused by his preaching and popularity, his betrayal by Judas, the trial before Pontius Pilate, and his ultimate crucifixion. Perpetually changing the face of musical theatre JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, will leave audiences captivated by its power.

Ticket prices are $44, $36 and $29.50. Tickets on sale Friday, December 18, 2009 and can be purchased at the Braden Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations.

Come follow Dorothy as she meets the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Cowardly Lion and learns that there truly is no place like home. Featuring 12 original songs written by Playwright and Broadway actor Todrick Hall, and starring 100 local children as munchkins, this is a performance you don’t want to miss.
