Friends of the Arts Postcard Art 2010 is a fundraising gala event supporting scholarships in the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University.
Come, enjoy friends, refreshments, live music AND view lots of original art, displayed on this one evening only. Postcard Art 2008 and 2009 were major community events and 2010 will be even better. Just like before, you will get to select one or more of the 4”x6” postcard-sized pieces to take home – everyone gets one! You may get artwork by a famous artist, by a community celebrity, by one of Illinois State University’s talented students, or by …who knows? Can you guess which is which? You won’t know until the selection process is over! Additional pieces of art may be purchased that evening at an additional charge. Pieces selected by multiple attendees will be auctioned to the highest bidder. Bidders who are unsuccessful in their attempt to secure the art they desire and have not made an alternate selection, will be allowed to select from any remaining work at the end of the evening.
Your attendance and additional purchases will support scholarships in the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University.
How to submit artwork
Anyone may create and donate up to three pieces of artwork for this one-night gala event. Work can be two or three dimensional and in any media. Two-dimensional work must be 4″ x 6″ and three-dimensional work must be 4″ x 6″ and no deeper than 1″. Hanging and freestanding work is acceptable. Artists must sign the work on the back, please do not sign on the front. An Artwork Submission Form will be available here at a later date.

Purchase Tickets
Information about purchasing tickets will be posted at a later date. Payment may be made by check payable to Friends of the Arts or by credit or debit card. Your order will be confirmed via email or telephone.
