Patricia Sheridan offers private vocal training at her studios located in New York City’s Upper Westside and in Jefferson, Schoharie County, NY. She specializes in classical vocal technique, including proper breath management, efficient vocal production, postural concerns and transitioning technique into the repertoire without sacrificing technical achievements, proper text preparation, etc. Ms. Sheridan is a New York Singing Teachers’ Association Distinguished Voice Professional, having completed the Oren L Brown Professional Development Program core curriculum of Vocal Anatomy, Voice Acoustics, Developmental Repertoire, Vocal Health, and Comparative Voice Pedagogy. She has served on the board of NYSTA. She is a member of NATS and NATS/ENY. She is also the co-founder of ACTING OPERA.
Students in the Sheridan Studio have performed at the Metropolitan Opera, NYC Opera, Los Angeles Opera, regional opera companies, in concert, oratorio, recitals, on and off Broadway, regional theatre, in cabaret and in country bands.
