For the second consecutive year, the Illinois State Athletics Department and the WJBC Country Financial Illinois State Radio Network are partnering with the Miller Media Group to broadcast select Redbird baseball and softball games live on the radio. Additionally, all baseball and softball games can once again be heard live on the Internet via GoRedbirds.com and WJBC.com.

Thirty baseball and 28 softball games are scheduled to air on either WHOW 1520 AM / 92.3 FM or WEZC 95.9 FM during the regular season. Both stations can be heard throughout Bloomington-Normal and Central Illinois. John Twork will once again provide baseball play-by-play coverage, while Dustin Hall will handle softball play-by-play duties.

“The Miller Media Group’s WHOW The Big 1520 AM / 92.3 FM and WEZC 95.9 FM are pleased to partner with ISU Athletics to bring more than 50 baseball and softball games to Central Illinois listeners this spring,” Miller Media Group President Randy Miller said.

Along with coverage of the entire Illinois State baseball and softball season available on GoRedbirds.com and WJBC.com, Redbird fans can also listen to all broadcasts via cellular or landline phones. Dial (309) 319-9426 for baseball and (309) 319-9425 for softball. The service is provided by AudioNow.

Fans with smartphones can also navigate to client.stretchinternet.com/client/isu.portal for live streaming audio. Live video streaming of all home baseball and softball games can be viewed via Redbird All-Access, ISU’s premium content site.

All broadcasts will include a five-minute pregame show, which consists of an interview with the team’s head coach.
